Welcome to the Elftown Member Directory. This is a little experiment put together by [Chimes]. See, I wanted to know how many active Elftowners we have here and what they get up to. Please, invite people to this page - I don't expect to get everyone but it would be interesting to see what most people do here.

If I get enough people, I will set up directory pages. These will make it easier for Elftowners to find other active Elftowners who roleplay or enter contests or host contests. These pages will also list availability of members, for example if they are available for art-trades, requests or commissions, or available to join a roleplay. I feel it would be a helpful resource.

How do I become part of the directory?
Becoming a part of the directory is easy, you simply sign your name and what you do here. If you do a huge amount please limit it to what you do the most.

Hoo Hoo hee hee, at least for me, and after five, you feel alive! Though be warned, for after six, you may feel warm, but fiddlesticks! Oh, the things that will happen when you start to get fuzzy! Your clothes may come off and you may hear a buzzing! As for vodca when ill, well better write a will and divvy out whats in your purse , cos alcohol just makes it worse! 2010-09-14 [Flisky]: This one is supposed to be a networking wiki. The official wikis don't allow chatting on them, either. If you want to chat, I would suggest checking out wikis like now, Bob's Diner, and others, or creating your own chatting wiki.

2010-09-14 [All_Most PUNK]: This isn't an official wiki, though. This is a wiki created by a member and it should be said member who complains and determines what it can be used for. If other members find it annoying, they can ask politely for it to stop, but that's pretty much it.
There's no rule against chatting in wikis nor any classification that says that certain kinds of wikis are ok to do some things and others aren't (Official wikis being a particular case, of course).
All that said, asking for chatting to stop is ok, so chatting members should be considerate with the members who ask for it. It's up to them what to do, though.

2010-09-15 [Ghost the Hybrid]: aww*hugs* but do you know what? there are now cats that allergic persons can have, i saw it on the operah show a while ago, and if you want a dog your dad might be able to be around poodles and there's some other pedigrees that allergic people can be around but talk with a breeder or shelter and ask if they can help you out and try before you decide something^^'*knows a lot of random things*

2010-09-15 [Ghost the Hybrid]: just so you guys know, no she can't get(can't get and can't get i just wouldn't recommend it) a sphynx cause it's not actually the hair that people are allergic to it's the dander(not sure if that's the right name for it tho) that people are allergic to witch means that a sphynx can actually be worse for allergic people...

maybe you should read up on things before you recommend a cat breed? we don't want anyone to go buy something and then it turn out that they where allergic to it from the beginning and it can also be a so bad allergy that he/she can die of it.

But: cat hair helps carry one of the allergens (as does the dander, it's not actually the dander in and of itself that people are allergic to, it's some proteins cats secrete which is in their saliva and the dander, and gets on their hair through grooming), so actually, having a hairless cat can help reduce the presence of the allergen and can be fine for some people, depending on which particular protein they're allergic to.

Also, last time I checked the specially bred hypoallergenic cats were incredibly expensive. $3000 or so. That was quite a few years ago, though (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/5375900.stm) - 2006, so 4 years ago). I love cats and all, but I wouldn't pay that much for one. :/ *also allergic to cats*

Boxes can make paragraphs look different... for example in my house I have a paragraph in a box500 tag so it doesn't go across the whole page.
